THE STORY

We are gearing up for The Story journey, which we will begin together in September. You can purchase your books now at the table in the lobby. There are books for adults, students, kids (8-12), children(5-7 - *these books came in this week!), *and little ones (0-4).

THE STORY SMALL GROUPS

All Westwood Small Groups will embark on The Story journey together for 31-weeks (September-November and January-May, with a break in December). It is our desire that everyone attend at least one small group during the week. In the lobby you will see a large calendar with leaders names on YELLOW post it notes. Pick a group/ time, put your name(s) and time on a MAROON post it note, and put it near the leader’s name. If none of the currently offered groups works with your schedule, you can express your preference for another day and time by posting your maroon note wherever you prefer on the calendar. If there are enough requests at another time, we will establish a group and recruit a leader. Group lists will be compiled from the calendar. We are anticipating your enthusiastic participation!

BRIDGE PROGRAM NEEDS MATERIALS

Westwood provides toiletry items for the men at the Bridge Program. We need to fill up the basket in the lobby. There is a particular need for razors and shave cream. The men are very appreciative of your thoughtfulness and generosity, and you have another great opportunity to be The Church!
