24/7 PRAYER INITIATIVE - Tuesday is November 7th, and the 7th of every month we are committed to pray for our city for 24 hours.  If you have already signed up to pray for one hour on the 7th of each month, you will receive a reminder email on Monday along with a list of suggested prayer points.  If you haven’t signed up but would like to participate, contact the office to select a time slot.

BIBLES FOR THE PHILIPPINES - Our kids in the Reign Forest are hoping you will help them raise money to provide Spanish Bibles for kids served by Joe and Mercy Nieboer in the Philippines.  At the close of service, they will again be stationed at the back doors with buckets to collect all your change.  Please dig deep in your pockets or wallets and be as generous as you can.  Let’s support our kids as they choose to be The Church for their counterparts on the other side of the world!

WINTER’S COMING – SHARE A JACKET - Here’s your chance to meet a very practical need for our brothers at The Bridge.  Winter is coming.  Many of them do not have coats or jackets to keep them warm in the chilly mornings and evenings.  You can help by donating men’s coats and jackets of any size – new or gently used.  Drop your donations off at the Information Desk over the next couple of weeks.  The guys will be very grateful for your practical help!

THANKSGIVING BASKETS - Our goal this year is to provide 40 Thanksgiving Baskets to families at Prairie Lake Elementary.  Tickets for needed items are available at the Information Desk.  Please take as many tickets as you can, and bring those items between now and November 19th.  Baskets will be assembled that afternoon and distributed on Monday & Tuesday, November 20th- 21st.  Since our distribution date has been pushed back (due to a change at the school), we are planning to include homemade pies again this year.  If you want to be a part of the pie-making team, contact Cathy Sullivan or Donna Rodgers for details, and plan to join our women’s groups in this labor of love the evening of November 19th.

“FALL BACK” IS FOR TIME ONLY - You may notice our year-to-date giving has fallen more than $2,000 below budget.  We need to be good stewards, recover from that deficit and stay on track for all that lies ahead of us in ministry!

SOAPING WEEKLY - In order to prepare your spirit for the message each week, S.O.A.P. through a passage (read the Scripture, make your Observation, find a specific Application, and write a Prayer) in advance of Sunday service.  Suggested SOAPing Scriptures for November are:
    November 12 – Psalm 42
