CELEBRATING LIFE  All women and teen girls are encouraged to join us this afternoon, at 3:30 pm for a Baby Shower. Cathy Sullivan advocated for a teen mom (17 years old) at Choices Clinic last November, who made the very difficult and brave choice to have and keep her baby.  You are invited to celebrate baby Isaiah’s life with her today.  Because of your generosity, we were able to purchase all the basic items Maria will need to begin caring for her newborn.  She will continue to need people who will come alongside her – supporting, encouraging and coaching.  It will be a long journey.  Come this afternoon, meet her and show your compassionate support!

DISTRICT WOMEN’S RETREAT  The District Women’s Retreat this year will be held in Daytona, October 13-15.  Registration is $90, if you register by September 1st.  There are flyers at the Information Desk.  Find 1-3 people to share the room cost with.  Let’s be well-represented this year!

INTERNATIONAL MINISTRIES MAT  We are pleased to announce that Matt Kelly has agreed to lead the International Ministries Ministry Action Team, whose purpose is to keep us as a Body, informed about, and focused on the work of spreading the Gospel throughout the world – through the C&MA and through other individuals/ministries in whom Westwood is regularly investing financial support.  If you are passionate about missions, or interested in learning more & participating, indicate International Ministries on your Communication Card or contact Matt directly.

CHILDREN’S MINISTRY ANNUAL SUMMER SPLASH  Save the Date of Sunday, July 30th (immediately following the worship service).  If you are a regular or occasional volunteer in Children’s Ministry, we are throwing you a splash party to let you know how greatly appreciated you are!  We’ll swim in the pool at the Reflections subdivision (next door to Pastor Dan’s house).  Lunch will be served.  The only thing you need to bring is yourself and your swimsuit.

UNIQUE MINISTRY OPPORTUNITY  In less than 3 weeks, Chinese students will begin arriving for their internship at EPCOT.  We have the opportunity to be Jesus to them by providing 1-5 nights of housing and/or transportation until their internship begins on August 7th. See Pastor Dan for more information, or go to the Agape Source website (http://mailchi.mp/b0a6ed298f01/agape-source-monthly-updates?e=fac5496652), where you’ll find the Volunteer Form.
