RED OUTING Immediately following today’s worship service, our RED students are heading to lunch and to Kelly Springs for an afternoon of fun in the sun and water. Details about their estimated time of return are available from Tyson. Pray for a good time of team-building and for safety for our students and sponsors.
SECOND WEDNESDAY Wednesday, May 9th, we will again gather for pray as the Body of Christ at Westwood. We set aside this one Wednesday night each month to focus our hearts, minds and spirits on the work God is doing in us, through us and around us in our community. All adults, students and children are encouraged to come pray together.

That means we will be short-staffed in the office and may open a little late and close a little early some days. If you need to reach us during that week, we will be available through email or you can call the office and leave a message. We will get back to you as quickly as possible.

SEEK CONFERENCE – MAY 4-5 Since C&MA national council convenes every 2 years, the national office has elected to hold “mini-councils” on the off years. May 4-5, one of them will be held at Deltona Alliance, making it possible for anyone and everyone to participate and get a feel for the council gathering. Our staff will all attend, and we are encouraging any of you who can to join us. There will be a service Friday night at 7:30, where our president, John Stumbo will speak, and then two large group sessions, and two breakout sessions on Saturday between 8:30 am and 5 pm. Go to sedcma.org to get more information and to register. It’s only $25/person and includes lunch on Saturday.
GOOD NEWS CLUB Remember to pray for our team of volunteers who bring the Gospel to Prairie Lake Elementary every Friday afternoon. And, pray for the children who are hearing the Gospel presented, that their hearts will be open and receptive to the Good News! We only have a couple more weeks of club this school year.
GNC SUNDAY Next Sunday, May 6th, during our worship service, we will have a closing program for the students of Prairie Lake Elementary and their families. Last year we had about 70 guests attend from PLE, and we are hoping for more this year. Remember, we may be the first exposure to the Gospel and to Body Life some of these kids/families have seen. Let’s make them feel welcome. Let’s let the light of the Gospel shine through us in all our interactions with our guests and with one another!
