THANKSGIVING BASKETS *We are collecting items for *Thanksgiving Baskets for folks who need a little bit of help at this Holiday time. See the list of items needed on the flyer. Items can be placed in the basket in the lobby anytime between now and November 23rd. Baskets will be assembled after church on the 23rd and distributed Monday-Wednesday before Thanksgiving. If you would like to request a basket for your family, please indicate on your Communication Card, or contact the office (

*BAPTISMAL SERVICE *There will be a Baptismal Service on Sunday, November 30th. If you would like to follow the Lord in the sacrament of Baptism, please indicate on the Communication Cartd, or contact the church office.

*FOOD PANTRY *Food Pantry is running low. We especially need rice & pastas, spaghetti sauce, canned fruit and canned vegetables, canned meats (chicken and tuna).

BEYOND YOUR FENCE *The Christmas Tree in the lobby is the *Angel Tree for the children of the men in the Bridge Program. You will see blue angel (boys) and pink angel (girls) ornaments hanging on the tree. During the next few weeks, take an ornament and buy a Christmas gift for a child of one of the guys from The Bridge. Gifts should be no more than $20, and should be returned wrapped, with the angel attached by December 7th. This is one very tangible way to share the love of Christ to our brothers at the Bridge and their children.

The Bridge Family Christmas Day will be Saturday, December 13th. A great be-The-Church opportunity for us, as we minister to the guys and their families. We will be doing face painting and helping out with the concessions. Let a Staff member know if you would like to participate.

*THE STORY: ARE YOU IN? *Each week the messages are highlighting another story in our chronological journey through the Bible. Small groups are meeting weekly to pray and discuss what each person has been reading during the week. Families, as you read to and with your children, please explain to them what you are reading and that we are emphasizing the same “stories” in Sunday School each week. What a great way for families, and our church family to grow together in our knowledge of THE WORD.

Praise the Lord. Praise the Lord, my soul. I will praise the Lord all my life; I will sing praise to my God as long as I live. Psalm 146:1-2
