Haiti Missions trip - June 19-23 *PLEASE CONTINUE TO PRAY FOR * our Haiti Mission Trip team of 12 students and 6 adults. They travelled during the night Thursday to Ft Lauderdale, where they checked in for their flight at about 3am, and then departed for Haiti at 6am Friday morning. They arrived in Haiti at about 8am, and hit the ground running. They visited two orphanages and a school, and set up supplies for the painting project. Yesterday, they painted the outside of one of the orphanage buildings. Over the next few days, they will be doing more painting of buildings, visiting, playing with, and sharing with kids in the orphanages and schools. They will be travelling back to Orlando on Wednesday.

*2016 ELECTIONS *Westwood Church has been asked by Bill Cowles, Supervisor of Elections for Orange County, to be a polling place for the 2016 elections. We have also been given the option to Adopt-a-Precinct, which could result in income to Westwood of nearly $5,000. To adopt the precinct for which we would be the polling place requires that we provide volunteer poll workers for all three 2016 elections: the Presidential Preference Primary on March 15, the Primary Election on August 30, and the General Election on November 8. We will need a minimum of 9 volunteers (all but 2 must be registered voters, and all must be at least 16 years old) who will donate their time for any or all of those days. If you think you might be interested, please contact the office at 407.295.4318 or office@westwoodchurch.com.
