ANGEL TREE FOR BRIDGE KIDS - Please take a gift tag from the tree in the front of the Sanctuary, and purchase a $20-$25 gift for a child of one of our brothers from The Bridge. Gifts need to be wrapped, with the angel tag taped on the bottom, and returned by next Sunday, December 2nd. The Family Day Christmas celebration is Saturday, December 8th. If you can volunteer your time to help with concessions or face painting (any time between 8:30 am and 1 pm), please let Pastor Dan know.

GARAGE SALE FOR HAITI - Again this year, the Wednesday night Women’s Community Group will host a garage sale to benefit the ministry in La Gonave, Haiti. Carmelle Beausejour is spearheading that ministry, and the needs are great. We are looking to you to bring any saleable items you can donate to be sold at the community garage sale on Saturday, December 8th. Bring your items with you when you come for service or group over the next couple of weeks. We will store everything until the day of the sale, which will be held here at Westwood. Since we are not equipped to store or move large items like furniture, please bring only smaller household items, clothing, etc. If you would like to help with preparation, or on the day of, please contact Carol Rich to see how you can serve.

THANKSGIVING BASKETS - Thank you to all who contributed to the Thanksgiving Baskets for Prairie Lake Elementary families. They were so blessed by your generosity!

GOOD NEWS CLUB - Good News Club continues growing strong with 84 kids registered in the current school year. More than 40% of our children are continuing from prior years including many who have been with us since the club’s inception 2 years ago. With a new little soul added to the kingdom this week, we’ve already seen six of our kids make decisions to accept God’s free gift of salvation through Jesus and many others are asking questions about becoming followers of Christ. With so many children attending each week, our club is in serious need of additional adult and student volunteers. Please pray and ask God if He would have you become a part of this vital ministry. It’s about a 2.5 hour per week investment of time (12 weeks in the first semester, 12 weeks in the second semester) that pays the best dividends! Donna Rodgers has all the details and is anxiously awaiting an opportunity to talk with you should the Lord be calling you to take the next step in being The Church to this abundant ministry field.
