BABY SHOWER  As part of her service at Choices Women’s Clinic, Cathy Sullivan has the privilege of mentoring young women.  One of those is, Amy, who chose life for her baby, and is expecting a new little girl in August.  Amy (and Robbie) have a 7-year-old daughter, so they no longer have the necessities for a newborn.  We have the opportunity of living out the Gospel as we celebrate this new little life and bless this family with a shower for baby Alice.  All women and girls are encouraged to join us in the celebration next Sunday, May 20th, at 4 pm, in the lobby.  Please let Cathy know today if you would like to contribute to a group gift, as we will do the shopping this week.  Thank you for choosing to be The Church in reaching out to this young family!

CELEBRATING OUR GRADS  We have four 2018 High School graduates.  We will honor them on Sunday, June 3rd in our worship service.  Our graduating seniors are:   David Hargrave,          Michelle Sejour, Avery Largaspada, Sarah Quintero

UKRAINE MISSIONS TRIP  On Tuesday, June 19th, six of our number will depart for Ukraine, to participate in ministry to Internally Displaced People in Kiev.  We will teach in an English camp, give instruction on marriage & family, and offer love and encouragement from you.  Team members are Pastor Dan Daly, Cathy Sullivan, Vanessa Johnson, Jim Abbott, Jarrett Largaespada and Abbie Cline.  Please be in prayer for this trip, and if you can contribute financially (above your normal giving), mark your envelope “Ukraine.”

MOVIE NIGHT  On Sunday, June 3rd, everyone is invited to experience together an evening of laughter and learning at the movies 6-7:30 pm, in the sanctuary.  Popcorn, water and sodas will be provided.  The application is up to you.  It will be lots of fun.  Even if you’re not currently attending a group, please come see what all the fuss is about.  You won’t want to miss this!

RED PRAYER INITIATIVE  Sunday, May 27th, at 4 pm, we will gather again to pray for our RED students and the student ministry team.  We have experienced some encouraging answers to prayer over the past few months.  You don’t need to be a parent or student leader to participate.  You just need to believe God is already at work in RED, and have a desire to see Him grow our students.  Location will be announced next week.

SOAPING WEEKLY  In order to prepare your spirit for the message each week, S.O.A.P. through a passage (read the Scripture, make your Observation, find a specific Application, and write a Prayer) in advance of Sunday service.  Suggested SOAPing Scripture passage for this week is Galatians 6:11-18
