*FEBRUARY: INTERNATIONAL MINISTRIES MONTH *February is International Ministries Month. We are looking forward to hearing messages about C&MA International Ministries, and from the Other Missions groups/individuals we regularly support through our missions giving. Come prepared to be blessed by news of the work!

CONGREGATIONAL MEETING *Next Sunday, *February 14th, there will be a congregational meeting to elect representatives from the Body to the Nominating Committee. All members are asked to convene immediately following the close of the service for a very brief meeting. Please be thinking and praying about who you would like to nominate to serve on this committee.

*FEBRUARY 10TH, IS SECOND WEDNESDAY *Come and pray with your fellow Believers as a group this Wednesday, at 7:00 PM

*FRIEND DAY *Westwood’s Friend Day will be Sunday, March 6th. More information will be coming your way soon. For now, be thinking and praying about who in your circle of influence might need, and be open to an invitation to come with you to worship service that day.

*SOUPER SUNDAY *Today is Souper Sunday - You have been challenged to bring one can of soup (or other canned meal) per family member to benefit the food pantry for kids at Clarcona Elementary. We hope everyone brought theirs today. Drop them off at the display in the lobby.

*THE COMPASSION EXPERIENCE *The Compassion Experience is coming to Central Florida. This opportunity to experience the developing world is being offered by Compassion International at the West Orlando Church, 1301 E Bay St, Winter Garden, February 26-29. This free event features an interactive journey through the true stories of children living in developing countries like the Philippines, Kenya, Uganda and the Dominican Republic. In over 2,000 square feet of interactive exhibit space, visitors will step inside homes, markets and schools — without getting on a plane. Each child's story starts in poverty but ends in hope. As we come to the end of our International Ministries month, everyone is encouraged to continue the journey and conversation by attending with your family, friends and neighbors. You should reserve a time slot in advance: http://cts.compassion.com/events/375

*CONGRATULATIONS! *Mark and Jan Amerman sent word of the arrival of their first grandson, Caleb Andrew Riek. He was born yesterday to the Amermans' youngest daughter and son-in-law, Shannon and Andy Riek. We are rejoicing with the Amermans, and praising God for the safe arrival of little Caleb!
