Welcome to Westwood Church
We are glad you’re here! We believe God designed the Church to be more than a place of casual attendance and involvement. It is a place where God is worshipped, people love one another, the Bible is taught, lives are changed and people serve one another within and outside of the church. The gospel message of Jesus Christ is the motivation for such living.
Westwood is perfectly situated to serve West Orlando, Apopka, Ocoee and Winter Garden communities. We invite you to visit us on a Sunday morning soon. We would love to get to know you and answer any questions you may have.
The Westwood leadership team will be attending a PEAK Training Cohort Along with several of our sister churches in the Alliance Southeast District. Because this event uses data from the PEAK Assessment tool, our elder team felt we would benefit from doing a fresh assessment as a church body. The entire process should take around 20 minutes to complete.
The information we gather will help our leadership team to gain a deeper perspective of where we are as a church, hear from the Holy Spirit regarding our gifting and gospel-influence on our community, and implement strategic steps to improve the impact of Westwood.

Based on the Bible
The most important piece of our identity as a church is the conviction that the Bible is God’s Word. This means that we weekly read and preach directly from the Bible and that we seek to follow it in our beliefs, lives and ministry.

We center everything we believe and do on the Bible’s core message: the life, death and resurrection of Jesus and how he can bring us into the right relationship with God as a free gift. This means we talk about Jesus and His grace - a lot.

Devoted to one another
Followers of Jesus are called to be devoted to one another in love. In order to cultivate this, we encourage everyone at our church to be part of a regular smaller gathering of Christians to love, serve, encourage and teach one another.
