The Westwood Missions Conference is coming soon! We are excited to welcome Ben and Ashley Maxey along with their three children.
Ben and Ashley are Alliance Missionaries to Indonesia where they walk alongside communities that are majority islamic. Ben’s passion is animal husbandry and he oversees a goat program that assists local farmers on how to produce high quality livestock in more affordable ways.
Ashley teaches Zumba classes for women. Through these classes, Ashley has been able to build a deep and trusted network of friendships with many women in the community.
They are both passionate about agriculture, animals and healthy community life, but more than anything they want to love people well and point them to God’s kingdom .
Missions Conference Schedule:
Friday October 24th
You are invited to an informal meeting to meet the Maxey’s and see displays for Westwood Missionary Partners. The evening will include a Q&A time with Ben and Ashley, An actual Zumba class in our sanctuary and a goat petting pen. This is going to be a great time for the whole family.
Saturday October 25th
We will be conduction a Men’s Breakfast where Ben will share stories of their ministry struggles and victories. Our Men’s breakfast is always free, but donations to help cover food cost are welcome.
The women will host a Ladies Tea in which Ashely will talk about here ministry to women. Be prepared to be inspired!
Sunday October 26th
Ben and Ashley will make appearances in both our Adult and Youth Sunday School classes (20 minutes each)
Sunday at 10:30am, Ben and Ashley will speak in our main worship service
